About us
Daisy Daycare was registered by OFSTED in December 2019.
Daisy Daycare cares for children aged 6 weeks to 5years and is open Monday-Friday 7.30-6.00pm.

We believe in learning through play, by providing stimulating and inviting play experiences. We encourage playing through exploration to enable our children to become active learners and give them opportunities to create and think critically.
​
We was recently inspected by OFSTED in April 2022 and was elated to have received a 'GOOD' rating for our first ever inspection since opening our doors. We are continuing to develop and assess our setting to always improve and provide the best quality care and education for our children.
We have been awarded our accreditation for 'Hygge in the Early Years' in May 2022 and we are continuing to implement 'Hygge' within our setting by embedding it into our curriculum and everyday practice.

Meet the directors...
Get to Know Us
As directors, we work in the nursery five days a week. We meet and greet parents each day and believe having strong positive relationships with all our children , parents and staff gives us the insight to observe and reflect on what we can do, to continuously improve on within our setting.
Jackie McElhatton
Director/Nursery manager
Jackie is qualified in childcare and education, leadership and management.
Jackie has over 18 years experience in nursery settings and has always dreamed of owning her own childcare setting.
From working as a nursery assistant, Jackie continued to progress professionally and work herself up into management. Jackie has worked as many roles within different settings from room leader of a baby room, right up to the age of school children where she has managed before and afterschool clubs.
Jackie lives at home with her partner, two children and pet cat 'Eric'. Her passion is to provide outstanding quality childcare, have seamless parent partnerships and create a loving and warm environment.
Elise Hibbert
Director/Nursery cook
Elise is trained in food and safety hygiene, allergy awareness and fire safety.

Elise lives at home with her husband, 3 children and pet dog 'Annie'. Elise is excited to create a nursery that provides all the qualities of childcare that all her children have experienced.
​
As well as co -owning Daisy Daycare Elise is our nursery cook and is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our children. Elise is fully dedicated in providing fresh, healthy meals which suit all children with any dietary and allergy requirements.
