At Daisy Daycare, we believe it is extremely important to care for our local community.

We aim to teach our children, how to care for and respect the environment. By doing this we take our children out regularly to go litter picking, teaching them the importance of disposing litter correctly.

We believe that our natural environment is fantastic for providing lots of learning experiences for our children.

Promoting recycling to the new generation
At Daisy Daycare as part of our ethos we believe in teaching our children the importance of looking after our planet!
This begins with the simple things of recycling each day.
At nursery we are pleased to be able to have our own recycling bins which are disposed of by a local company.
We have just begun the process of introducing this to our children and spreading the word of the importance of recycling through books, daily routine and giving the job of recycling monitor to our children!
We are very excited about our process and looking forward to documenting our recycling journey.
